Saffron Waking Path

Going through the dark-side of the night can be a really scary and difficult process.  For me, I have had two awaking processes that have happened in my life.

The first experience, which occurred in 2005 started first with visions about going on a kayaking journey and flipping the kayak and drowning.

This vision led to me painting it, which then led to me thinking about it, which led to thinking about my life, leaving me feeling uneasy and unsatisfied with the situation.
Feeling propelled by this desire to want to find truth and happiness, kind of became the reason why I walked away and went on a spiritual journey reconnecting with myself.   It started with a vision and then me looking into it and that truth from the vision, trusting my intuition and riding through that storm.

The storm of confusion and what you are supposed to do, what you are supposed to believe, how you really feel and how your higher-self really feels and what it really wants for you, your body and mind.

A lot of the time we feel trapped, not that we like the situation we find our self in, but there is nothing we feel that we can do about it.  This is the way we have been taught, this is the way we do things.  If I stop, then everything is going to fall apart and it is scary.
I urge you, if you are going through the dark-side of the night to continue following that intuition, continue following that passion to be with your higher-self and to be in a better place.

That drive and desire to always want to be on a higher plane is what is going to bring your consciousness there.    It doesn’t just happen by itself, or happen by reading a book, or happen by a great teacher touching you.  It happens through the commitment of yourself making that decision, that this is truly what you want and following through with it.  Follow through the storm, through the dark scary parts of that transformation process, because it is worth it!
